Special Purpose Machines -Apart from tapping machine, drilling machine and multi-spindle heads, PREWO also manufactures and supplies special purpose machines with standard modules of tapping and drilling machines configured to meet custom requirements. Any combination of drilling and tapping heads can be arranged and fixtured to suit your component. These special purpose machines are built to reduce CYCLE TIME, thereby increasing productivity. Featured above are two special purpose machines. The SPM on the left was made for a leading manufacturer of 2 wheelers. This machine is designed to drill 36 holes (18 each side) in 1 cycle. The SPM on the right was made for drilling and tapping wiper assembly unit. Shown on the left is a special purpose horizontal tapping machine with 3 Nos. multi-head and One vertical tapping machine with multi-head.

Tapping Operation : M6 Tap holes 4 sides and 12 Taps at a time in 25 seconds.
